Anguilla delegation meets yacht industry at Monaco Yacht Show
Anguilla tourism and port officials are meeting yacht-sector representatives in Monaco ahead of the upcoming yachting season.
The People’s Tribune reported that an Anguilla delegation is attending the Monaco Yacht Show 2026 this week to meet yacht owners, operators, developers and industry representatives ahead of the upcoming yachting season.
The delegation includes Anguilla Tourist Board chairman Sean Richard, Director of Tourism Jameel Rochester, destination experience manager Keri Rogers and Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority CEO Sherman Williams, according to The People’s Tribune.
The newspaper reported that the meetings cover market expectations, possible partnerships and Anguilla’s position in the luxury-yachting sector. The Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority is also seeking feedback on destination access, arrival procedures and the port experience.
The People’s Tribune said discussions include the official port-of-entry experience at Road Bay and coordination among relevant agencies. Anguilla Tourist Board also partnered with BOAT International as a Premier Partner and hosted an Owners’ Club Cocktail Reception aboard the 111-metre motor yacht Leviathan, hosted by Oceanco, the newspaper reported.
Guests at the reception were served a Shoal Bay Margarita made for the event, using Anguillian salt supplied by Josveek Huligar of Anguilla Sands, Salts & Chocolate in South Hill Village, according to The People’s Tribune. The newspaper also reported that Anguilla appears in a two-page spread in BOAT International: The Monaco Issue.
