The Chambre Consulaire Interprofessionnelle de Saint-Martin (CCISM) has appointed Luciana Raspail as its Director General, according to the institution. Raspail joined CCISM in 2011 as a secretary and later held roles including assistant at the Business Formalities Centre, Export Project Officer, Head of Business Support and Deputy Director.

CCISM said Raspail holds degrees in management, international trade and human resources. In the role, she plans to focus on understanding business needs, improving the institution’s efficiency, using data and evaluation, developing team skills, and building projects and partnerships.

Following her appointment, Raspail travelled to Paris with CCISM’s President for the CCINERGIES chamber-network seminar and Choose Outre-mer. CCISM said the visit included meetings with CMA France, Chambres d’agriculture France, ACCIOM, COIREMA, FEDOM and the ministry responsible for Overseas France.
