CCISM shares guidance on support for businesses in difficulty

CCISM says business leaders can seek confidential CARE appointments, COTEFI help and court guidance before financial problems become critical.

A large white cruise ship lies alongside a pier under a cloudy blue sky, with a smaller service vessel beside it and a green hill behind.

CCISM President Angèle Dormoy said business leaders facing difficulties should seek support early. The chamber said it has resources to help leaders identify warning signs, understand available options and find an appropriate contact.

CCISM said its CARE unit can offer personalised, confidential appointments. It said COTEFI, chaired by the préfet and facilitated by Finances publiques, the public finance service, can intervene when financial difficulties require dialogue with public creditors.

The chamber said the prevention judge at the Tribunal mixte de commerce can also receive business leaders confidentially. It listed lawyers and accountants as contacts who can help assess a situation and support procedures.

CCISM listed CARE at 05 90 27 91 51 and [email protected]. It listed COTEFI at 05 90 29 56 51 and [email protected].
