Soualiga Newsday reported that the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) marked World Tourism Day on 27 September by promoting resources intended to help Caribbean hospitality businesses use artificial intelligence. The association's third AI Guidebook Series edition is titled AI Workforce Transformation Guide for Caribbean Hospitality.

According to Soualiga Newsday, CHTA said the guide includes tools for implementation planning, governance, vendor assessment, workforce readiness and return-on-investment assessment. CHTA President Sanovnik Destang said the association aims to provide practical guidance on AI use in the region's hospitality industry.

CHTA will also feature technology and AI as one of six content pillars at the Caribbean Hospitality Industry Exchange Forum, or CHIEF, from 16-18 November at Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lord's Castle All-Inclusive Resort. Soualiga Newsday reported that planned sessions include The AI-Powered Hospitality Business: What Every Leader Needs to Know Before 2030 and Transforming Hospitality Performance: AI for Operations, Guest Experience and Commercial Growth.
