The Public Health Prevention Clinic said free colorectal cancer screening will begin on Sint Eustatius on Monday 26 October 2026. Women and men aged 55 to 75 are eligible to take part. It is the first screening programme on Sint Eustatius in which men are eligible, according to the clinic.

The clinic and the St. Eustatius Health Care Foundation will run the programme. The clinic said it is working with Fundashon Mariadal Hospital on Bonaire so follow-up testing can be offered after an abnormal result.

Eligible people will receive invitations over a two-year period and can register after receiving one. People in the target age group who have not received an invitation can contact the Public Health Prevention Clinic from 26 October 2026. The clinic said people with symptoms should contact their family doctor first.
