Dominica schedules National Miss Wob Dwiyet Pageant

Dominica’s National Miss Wob Dwiyet Pageant is scheduled for 8pm AST on Wednesday 21 October at the Massacre Indoor Sporting Facility. Chief Cultural Officer Earlson Mathew said four contestants will take part in the event, which focuses on the Wob Dwiyet, Dominica’s national dress.

Mathew encouraged the public to attend. Prime seating costs EC$70 and bleacher seating costs EC$60, while an online viewing option costs US$20.

Mathew said the event is supported by the National Cultural Council, National Bank of Dominica, Archipelago Trading, J. Astaphan & Co. Ltd., TK International, House of Lorraine, Madame Wob Dwiyet Canada, Buy Grace Hair Body, the OECS Committee, Springfield Trading and Harris Paints.
