Gas and diesel prices rise from 6am 30 September

Pump prices rise on Wednesday 30 September, with gas at Cg 3.102 per litre and diesel at Cg 3.272.

Three large cruise ships are berthed at a long pier under a blue sky with white clouds, with small figures walking along the quay.

Gas and diesel prices will increase from 6am AST on Wednesday 30 September, according to a public announcement by the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications (TEATT). Gas will rise from Cg 3.076 to Cg 3.102 per litre, while diesel will increase from Cg 2.905 to Cg 3.272 per litre.

TEATT said petroleum and energy provider SOL needed to restock fuel. The ministry said international developments had raised the world-market price of unleaded gasoline, while the diesel price had remained unchanged. It said the Department of Economy, Transportation and Telecommunication (ETT) verified SOL’s higher purchase price for unleaded gasoline and the need to adjust local pump rates.

The previous price adjustment was on Thursday 20 August, when gas and diesel prices fell, according to the announcement issued by the minister on Monday 28 September.
