The Caribbean Netherlands Police Force, KPCN, invited Sint Eustatius residents to meet Community Officer Rexcarlos Courtar on Friday 2 October, from 17:30 to 19:30 in front of the Police Station. KPCN said residents can raise concerns, experiences and ideas about their neighbourhoods and the wider community.

According to KPCN, Courtar spent the three days before Thursday 1 October making introductory visits to the Fire Department, the airport, schools, local businesses and other community partners. He also met Acting Island Governor Sharon Hassell to discuss his plans for the role and possible cooperation with police, local organisations and residents.

KPCN said Courtar will be visible in neighbourhoods and at community activities. Residents can approach him with non-emergency concerns, neighbourhood safety questions or information that could help keep the community safe.
