Milton Peters College retained the PSA Athletics Association’s 2026 5-on-5 Interscholastic High School Basketball League title after beating CBA 51-44, the association said. The league ran from 1 September through Saturday 17 October and included 10 high schools on Dutch Sint Maarten.

PSA said St. Maarten Academy’s academic team finished third after a 60-51 win over the school’s vocational team, VBC. MPC’s Terrell Richards was named the league’s Most Valuable Player and leading scorer.

Postseason games were held on 14, 15 and 17 October, according to PSA. The association said it will next organise an elementary school basketball league and will announce its schedule and venue through its social media pages.

PSA also asked community members to volunteer as coaches for schools needing support and invited businesses and individuals to sponsor uniforms for participating teams next season.
