Police arrest suspect after firearm threat complaint in St. Peters

Police arrested a suspect identified as D.D.C. in St. Peters on Monday, 21 September, after receiving a complaint that a victim had been threatened with a firearm following a verbal confrontation, 721 News reported, citing the Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM).

KPSM said detectives went to a residence in the St. Peters area, where D.D.C. was located and arrested. With the Prosecutor’s Office, police searched the residence and found and confiscated a firearm, according to KPSM.

The suspect was taken to the police station in Philipsburg and remained in custody for questioning and further investigation, KPSM said. The force said the investigation is ongoing.
