Pure Ocean Health Clinic and Kristina Simmons donate local books to library

Pure Ocean Health Clinic and Kristina Simmons donated two locally written books by Jacintha Brice to the Sint Maarten Library. The donation, made in support of Brice, included Our First Cake and The Well, both illustrated by Daniella Simons.

Simmons said the donation was intended to encourage support for local authors and artists and inspire people to read more books. Daniella Simons is Simmons’ sister.

The librarian, identified only as M. Powell, accepted the books on behalf of the Sint Maarten Library and the community. The library will add both titles to its collection.
