SEDC to launch AI training programme for small businesses
SEDC will launch a 12-session AI programme for up to 20 local business owners from 19 October, Soualiga Newsday reported.
The St. Maarten Entrepreneurship Development Center (SEDC) will launch a four-week AI for Small Business training programme for local micro, small and medium enterprises, Soualiga Newsday reported. The programme is scheduled from 19 October to 16 November, with classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm.
Soualiga Newsday reported that the course will include 12 sessions for no more than 20 business owners. Participants are expected to develop an AI-powered workflow, an AI growth strategy, an AI policy and a personalised 90-day implementation roadmap.
SEDC contracted Ife Badejo to design and deliver the programme, according to Soualiga Newsday. Badejo is one of Sint Maarten's AI Ambassadors and the founder and chief executive of Islandpreneur International.
According to Soualiga Newsday, SEDC is implementing the programme through the Ministry of TEATT, with funding from TWO under the E6 Country Package managed by RVO. Registration is open at tinyurl.com/sedc-ai.
