SMMC schedules men’s health screening for 26 September

St. Maarten Medical Center is scheduled to hold its “Man-Up. Check Up.” men’s health screening event on Saturday, 26 September, from 9am to 2pm, according to the St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association. The association said health screenings and prostate check-ups, described as DREs, will be available at the medical centre.

The association said Orco Bank handed campaign T-shirts to SMMC through its Orco Cares programme ahead of the event. It described the handover as part of a partnership between the bank and SMMC that is expected to include support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October and other patient and community initiatives through the end of the year.

Judy King Richardson, Country Manager of Orco Bank Sint Maarten, said the bank wants to support people in getting checked and to keep the early-screening message visible in the community.
