Anguilla platform offers online taxi and chauffeur bookings

The Anguilla Tourist Board says RSVD | Transfers allows users to reserve and pay online for licensed transport services.

A straight paved road with a sandy verge runs past fenced single-storey houses and a parked white car under a blue sky with white clouds.

The Anguilla Tourist Board said RSVD | Transfers allows visitors and residents to reserve and pay online for licensed taxi and chauffeur services. The locally developed platform was created by What We Do In Anguilla and covers airport and ferry transfers, rides to restaurants and trips to attractions.

The board said pricing is based on Anguilla’s official taxi fare structure. Jameel Rochester, director of tourism at the Anguilla Tourist Board, said the service gives taxi and chauffeur operators another way to reach customers and plan their business.

Clemvio Hodge, manager of What We Do In Anguilla, said the service is available to residents as well as visitors.
