The St Eustatius Tourism Development Foundation (STDF) has partnered with Travel Diaries on a Dutch-language digital campaign aimed at promoting St Eustatius in the Netherlands. According to STDF, the campaign includes a dedicated digital e-book and three destination stories about the island’s history, culture, diving and nature trails.

STDF said it wants the content to reach Dutch travellers and create opportunities for local accommodation providers, guides, dive operators, restaurants and other tourism businesses. Travel Diaries says its platform has more than 250,000 users worldwide.

The foundation said the collaboration resulted from its participation in the Trav Day travel trade show in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, in April. Maya Pandt, STDF’s director of tourism, said the partnership is intended to encourage visitors to experience the island through its people, history and natural environment.

The Dutch-language Statia stories are available through Travel Diaries’ Sint Eustatius destination hub, according to STDF.
