Destination Hub says it will attend the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November. The group will partner with YATCO, a yacht-industry platform, and will be represented in the YATCO Lounge during the five-day event.

According to Destination Hub, Palapa Marina, the St. Maarten Tourism Bureau and Port St. Maarten will join the initiative. The group says it will focus on industry relationships, potential collaborations and attracting yachting business to St. Maarten ahead of the Caribbean season.

Destination Hub said it also took part in the Monaco Yacht Show in September. The initiative was established by The Yacht Club at Port de Plaisance to bring together St. Maarten's yachting industry for international destination promotion.

Sharrita Mills, Director of Marketing and Sales at The Yacht Club at Port de Plaisance, said the events allow the group to meet people who influence where yachts travel, dock and where guests spend time.
