Anguilla wins two Caribbean honours at World Travel Awards
Anguilla received the Caribbean’s Leading Culinary Destination and Leading Luxury Island Destination titles on Sunday 11 October.
World Travel Awards named Anguilla the Caribbean’s Leading Culinary Destination and Caribbean’s Leading Luxury Island Destination at its Caribbean & The Americas Gala Ceremony on Sunday 11 October at Princess Grand Jamaica.
Jameel Rochester, director of tourism at the Anguilla Tourist Board, represented Anguilla at the ceremony. Rochester said the two awards recognised tourism professionals and local businesses across Anguilla.
Andy and Omar Connor of Andy’s Auto Rentals also represented Anguilla at the event, accepting the 2026 award for Anguilla’s Leading Car Rental Company on behalf of the company.
