APS says Finance Minister sought more detail on proposed 2027 budget

APS said its management and board met the Finance Minister on Thursday 22 October to discuss its proposed 2027 budget. The fund said the minister sought further information on proposed allocations and the assumptions used for its financial projections.

APS said the meeting also covered laws and regulations governing membership in the fund, including possible ways to encourage more employers to participate. The parties considered conditions for participation and possible effects on APS and prospective employers, according to the fund.
