Fire engine driver training planned on Bonaire from 28 September
The Caribbean Netherlands Fire Department will hold weekday fire engine driver training exercises on Bonaire through 9 October.
The Caribbean Netherlands Fire Department (BKCN) will hold practical fire engine driver training exercises on Bonaire from 28 September through 9 October, Soualiga Newsday reported. Participants from Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba will take part in the programme.
According to Soualiga Newsday, the exercises will take place Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. BKCN will use flashing lights and sirens during the training, and fire engines and training activities may be seen nearby.
The outlet reported that BKCN asked road users and residents to take account of the exercises, follow instructions given and respond to emergency lights and sirens as they normally would for emergency vehicles.
