The Government of Sint Maarten says the Inspectorate of Public Health, Social Development and Labor, IVSA, is working with Altus Communication and Website Design on internal communication, stakeholder engagement and public access to its services.

According to the government, the work includes reviewing and consolidating internal procedures, identifying potential gaps in work processes and turning procedures into public information. The government said the work is expected over time to lead to a modernised website as IVSA's main portal for the public and stakeholders.

The government said visitors would be able to find information on matters within IVSA's responsibilities and submit questions, complaints and concerns through the website. It said the work would also support communication with professionals, employees, employers, organisations and government partners.

“Our session with Altus gives us an opportunity to reflect on our work, improve the information we provide to the public and stakeholders, and help them better understand how we carry out our inspection and supervisory duties. This will enable us to better serve the public interest,” IVSA Inspector General Dr. Joe Alcala said in the government release.
