KPSM warns against egg throwing before Halloween weekend
Government of Sint Maarten says KPSM warned students, parents and guardians against egg throwing before Halloween weekend.

The Government of Sint Maarten said on Wednesday 28 October that the Police Force of Sint Maarten, KPSM, had issued a warning before Halloween weekend. The warning is aimed at students, parents and guardians over eggs being thrown at fellow students, vehicles, homes and other private property.
According to the Government, some students bring eggs to school or buy them at nearby shops in the days before Halloween. KPSM said egg throwing can cause injuries, damage property and create dangerous situations for road users.
The Government said KPSM considers the actions punishable and that officers will take appropriate action against those involved. Parents and guardians were urged to discuss the consequences with their children, monitor what they take to school and discourage egg throwing.
Students were reminded to respect other people and their property. Schools and shop owners were also encouraged to stay alert and help discourage the behaviour.
