WIFOL has signed two Collective Labour Agreement amendments with Pearl Development N.V. and Iron Shore Management, companies operating at Oyster Bay. The agreements come under the union's newly elected president, Joanice "Dukie" Richardson.

Richardson had identified outstanding collective labour agreements involving Oyster Bay Beach Resort, Holland House Beach Hotel and Belair Beach Hotel as matters for the new board to address. The agreements involving Holland House Beach Hotel and Belair Beach Hotel remain outstanding.

Richardson said the board also plans a membership drive and wants to expand services for members to include educational support, skills development and professional training. Richardson also identified WIFOL's administration, board involvement and financial position as areas needing attention.
