Several senior officers of the Police Force of Sint Maarten, KPSM, completed an effective leadership training programme, KPSM said. The force said the programme focused on giving the officers knowledge, insight and guidance for operational-level work.

Chief of Police Carl John and Uniform Division chief S. Gysbertha, identified by KPSM only by an initial and surname, attended with instructor Gerrit Hut, according to KPSM. KPSM said it was the first police force to receive the training and that it remains committed to investing in similar programmes.
