Mental Health Caribbean (MHC) said on Tuesday 13 October that it has appointed Anton van Mansum as interim executive following the departure of Kathelijne van den Boogert. Van Mansum is due to start in mid-October.

MHC said it will begin recruiting a new executive director shortly. The interim executive will focus on day-to-day management and support the organisation during the transition, MHC said.

MHC said Van Mansum has management experience in healthcare, including mental healthcare. Its Supervisory Board said it expects the transition to be handled carefully.
