MP Dimar Labega spoke with University of St. Martin Caribbean Foundation Year students on Wednesday 28 October.

Member of Parliament Dimar Labega met University of St. Martin Caribbean Foundation Year students on Wednesday 28 October at the university on Pond Island, according to USM. Khalil Raven joined Labega for the session, which included questions and discussion with students.
USM said Labega drew on his own college experience and encouraged students to take their studies seriously, develop ideas and pursue their goals. He spoke about networking, collaboration and using connections and resources purposefully.
Students shared their views and raised concerns about behaviour they said they had observed from law enforcement officials in public, USM said. Labega also spoke about legislative work he is pursuing and his role as a parliamentarian.
USM said the visit was part of its CFY pep talk sessions, which bring students together with community members and alumni as they prepare for further education and careers.
