The National Hurricane Center issued an outlook on Tuesday 3 November for a low-pressure area expected to form a few hundred miles south of Bermuda. It said the system could form along a weakening frontal boundary over the next day or so.

The centre said the system could acquire subtropical characteristics late in the week ending Sunday 8 November while drifting slowly over the western Atlantic. It said the chances of subtropical development decrease by the weekend beginning Saturday 7 November, when the system is expected to move generally eastward.
