The National Hurricane Center said in its 2am AST outlook on Wednesday 21 October that a storm-force non-tropical low was located a few hundred miles off the mid-Atlantic United States coast.

According to the National Hurricane Center, the low was producing showers and thunderstorms mainly west and northwest of its centre. Satellite imagery showed that the system was still frontal.

The centre said the low could gradually lose its frontal features over the next day or two. The supplied outlook text ends before completing its forecast of the system’s movement.
