Pink Sunset Sail raises more than US$11,000 for breast cancer foundations

Aqua Mania Adventures said its annual Pink Sunset Sail in Simpson Bay on Saturday 3 October drew more than 300 participants aboard four boats and raised more than US$11,000 for breast cancer awareness. The company said proceeds will benefit the Elektralyets Foundation and Positive Foundation.

Aqua Mania said close to 100 local businesses donated more than 240 raffle prizes for the event. The company said the funds will support the foundations' breast cancer awareness work, including 100 free mammograms. It said Out Island Charters made two catamarans available alongside Aqua Mania's Lambada and Tango boats.
