SMSF opens applications for sports director, treasurer and marketing roles

The St. Maarten Sports Federation (SMSF) announced on Monday 5 October that it is accepting applications for a Sports Director, an Executive Treasurer and a Social Media & Marketing position. According to SMSF, applications close on Saturday 17 October 2026.

SMSF said the Sports Director would support member federations, coordinate national team programmes and other initiatives, and work on grants, sponsorships, partnerships, planning and reporting.

The Executive Treasurer is a volunteer board position. SMSF said the role includes overseeing income, expenditure and the approved budget, as well as budgeting, subsidy requests, financial reporting and financial controls.

The Social Media & Marketing opening is also voluntary. The federation said the successful applicant would support its digital branding, create social-media content, graphics and short-form video, and assist with campaigns, events and community outreach.
