St. Maarten is listed to host the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association Cruise Conference and Trade Show from 18 to 22 October 2027, according to the association’s calendar. The listing would make St. Maarten host of the gathering for a fourth time.
The association’s calendar identifies St. Maarten as the host destination. The conference was last held in St. Maarten from 22 to 25 October 2024, following previous editions in 2003 and 2014.
Port St. Maarten Group Chief Executive Officer Alexander Gumbs and Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transportation and Telecommunication Grisha Heyliger-Marten attended the FCCA conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from 12 to 16 October, according to the report.
FCCA said its 2024 conference in St. Maarten drew 670 destination stakeholders and nearly 100 cruise-line executives. The association also reported more than 940 prearranged one-on-one meetings between participants and cruise executives at that event.
