A Toronto presentation detailed on Monday 2 November promoted both sides of the island as airlines list 22 weekly winter flights.

An Atout France tourism presentation at the Bisha Hotel in downtown Toronto promoted St. Maarten and French St. Martin as a shared destination. The event was included in a report published on Monday 2 November. About 65 travel advisers, travel-industry journalists, airline representatives and tourism partners attended, with representatives from both sides of the island taking part.
Airline schedules listed for the winter season total 22 weekly flights between Toronto or Montreal and Princess Juliana International Airport. WestJet is scheduled to operate six weekly flights from Toronto and one from Montreal; Air Canada five from Toronto and four from Montreal; and Air Transat three weekly flights from each city.
The presentation included Suzanne Scantlebery, market manager for the United States and Canada at the French St. Martin Tourist Office. Mac Caribbean Villas representative Doriana Zohil-Morton also participated. The company manages about 150 villas, mainly on the French side.
Dutch Consul General in Toronto Marjan Schippers attended the event. The presentation also included activities such as cultural tours, water sports, culinary experiences, steel pan lessons, pottery and perfume-making.
