Arrindell attends Armenia independence reception in The Hague

Minister Plenipotentiary Gracita R. Arrindell attended a reception in The Hague marking the 35th anniversary of Armenia’s independence. According to the Government of Sint Maarten, Arrindell represented Sint Maarten and congratulated Armenia’s government and people on Independence Day.

The Government of Sint Maarten said the reception was hosted by Viktor Biyagov, Armenia’s ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Biyagov and Joanneke Balfoort, Director for Europe at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gave welcoming remarks.

The Government of Sint Maarten said Arrindell described diplomatic engagements as opportunities for dialogue and possible cooperation, including in tourism, trade and cultural exchange.
