The St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation says Carnival 2027 will open on Thursday 15 April 2027 and close on Monday 3 May 2027. The foundation described the programme as a 20-day schedule with six days of pre-Carnival events.

According to the SCDF, the schedule includes 13 local nights, six international concert nights, three parades and four jump-ups. The parades are the Junior Carnival Parade, Grand Carnival Parade and Lighted Labour Day Parade.

SCDF President Marie Gittens said the foundation has made the lighted parade a permanent part of Carnival after its use during Carnival 2026. The foundation said the jump-ups will be the Causeway Jump-Up, Carnival Village Opening Jump-Up, Jouvert Morning Jump-Up and Closing Jump-Up.

The schedule also names Caribbean Flag Fest, Bacchanal Sunday, Noche Latina, Reggae Night, Night of the Hit Makers, The Village Chill, Koncert X and Soca Rumble, along with the Calypso Competition, Senior Carnival Queen Pageant, Caribbean Carnival Queen Pageant, Band Clash Competition and Youth Extravaganza.
