Garage Solidaire project targets 2027 opening, association says

Garage Solidaire et Associatif – Éco Suprême will hold a car boot sale on Sunday 8 November 2026 at La Savane – Sandy's Orange, opposite Lycée Robert Weinum in Marigot. The association said the event will support its planned Garage Solidaire vehicle repair and maintenance project, which it expects to open in 2027.

The association said it has found land for the project and that its building permit is in progress. It is seeking up to 75 sellers and about 300 visitors. Seller registration is open at €20, including a sales space and association membership, and the event will include a solidarity raffle.

The association, which said it has developed the project since 2023, plans to offer vehicle repair and maintenance at costs adapted to people's means. It also said the facility is intended to provide training, skills sharing and social inclusion opportunities.
