Gumbs says several community courts may reopen by 30 October
Education Minister Melissa Gumbs says several community courts may reopen by Friday 30 October, but the sites and number remain unconfirmed.

Several community sports courts are expected to return to public use by Friday 30 October, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Minister Melissa Gumbs said on Tuesday 27 October. She linked the anticipated reopening to the Trust Fund's school gymnasium and sports facilities component.
Gumbs said she had not received the final list before her broadcast.
Repairs to 13 public sports facilities are being carried out under a US$13 million Emergency Recovery Project 1 investment, according to the National Recovery Program Bureau. The Netherlands finances the project through the Sint Maarten Trust Fund, which the World Bank administers. The bureau implements it with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport.
NRPB information lists the Cay Bay Sports Facility, Cole Bay Sports Facility, Simpson Bay Sports Facility, South Reward Sports Facility, Dutch Quarter Basketball Court and Rupert I. Maynard Community Youth Center in St. Peters. It also lists Raoul Illidge Sports Complex in Cay Hill, Jose Lake John Cooper Ball Park in Cul de Sac, L.B. Scott Sports Auditorium and Philipsburg Cultural Center in Philipsburg, Melford Hazel Sports Facility in Sucker Garden, and John Larmonie Centre in Philipsburg.
