Member of Parliament Darryl York said the fourth edition of Let’s Talk Art will be held on Sunday 29 November 2026 at Emilio’s Restaurant. The event, under the theme “We Culture. We Heritage. We Story.”, is scheduled from 4pm to 9pm AST and will bring together St. Maarten history, heritage, artistic expression and traditional experiences.

York said the programme will include a Heritage Story Walk, historical and artistic exhibitions, traditional demonstrations, cultural performances, a keynote address, Caribbean cuisine and presentations by local creatives. He said dinner is being added this year and that it will be the foundation’s first paid event.

York said the foundation has organised cultural and artistic activities for the past three years, including an event at Motorworld last year. He also said the foundation has organised its activities without government involvement.

York said he was concerned about what he described as reduced government-led cultural activities and called for more support for schools and cultural organisations working to preserve local heritage.
