Lions District 60B Governor Hyacinth Jeremiah visited St. Eustatius on Sunday 4 October. According to the Lions Club of St. Eustatius, the visit included an official audit of the club and the installation of four new members: Michelangela Stefania, Raquel Spanner-Carty, Floyd Woodley and Vaughn Sams.

The club said its president, Cherile van Putten, and other members greeted Jeremiah at F.D. Roosevelt Airport. He attended a service at Jeems Methodist Church held in honour of World Lions Day, observed on 8 October, before meeting members at the Ernest van Putten Youth Centre, also known as the Lions Den.

During an official meeting, members discussed the club's activities, accomplishments, challenges and future plans. The club said the discussion also covered media coverage, Lions Quest, member retention and contributions to Lions Clubs International Foundation causes. Jeremiah later toured the youth centre and the island before departing.
