Mariana Fleming completes requirements for Dutch RA qualification
Audit Team St. Maarten says auditor Mariana Fleming completed the final examination required for Dutch RA registration in October 2026.

St. Maarten-born auditor Mariana Fleming has completed the requirements for the Dutch Registeraccountant, or RA, qualification, according to Audit Team St. Maarten, where she works. The team said Fleming completed her final examination, administered by the Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants, or NBA, in October 2026.
Fleming completed bachelor’s and master’s studies abroad before returning to St. Maarten, Audit Team St. Maarten said. She pursued the qualification while living and working on the island.
Fleming is expected to be formally entered into the NBA’s register of qualified accountants after taking the professional oath in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. The RA qualification is regulated under the Dutch Act on the Accountancy Profession and requires academic study, postgraduate professional education, practical training and examinations, according to Audit Team St. Maarten.
“Becoming an RA has been a professional goal of mine for many years,” Fleming said. “I wanted to challenge myself and reach the highest level of qualification in my field.”
