MP Roseburg hopes to welcome Eloy Room to Sint Maarten

MP Sjamira Roseburg said she hopes to welcome Curaçao international goalkeeper and Guinness World Record holder Eloy Room to Sint Maarten. Roseburg said she met Room in Curaçao at an event marking his Guinness World Records recognition and asked him to share advice with aspiring footballers on the Dutch and French sides of the island.

According to Roseburg, Room told young athletes not to give up on their dreams, to work hard and to enjoy the game. Roseburg said Room’s experience could encourage young Caribbean athletes who want to compete internationally.

Roseburg said she hopes Room can eventually meet young footballers in Sint Maarten and share his experiences in professional football.
