SEDC grant-writing training to start 12 October
Government of Sint Maarten says SEDC will begin a five-day grant-writing course on 12 October, funded by TWO.
The Government of Sint Maarten says SEDC will start a five-day Creative Grant Writing Training Program on Monday 12 October 2026. The course is funded by TWO and is part of SEDC's Advanced Education Program, the government said.
According to the government, the training will cover identifying funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, preparing budgets, mitigating project risks, reporting and researching funding agencies. Elton Villareal, CEO of TRININC, will facilitate the programme.
The government said registered participants will receive practical instruction on developing budgets, reporting and finding funding agencies whose priorities match project objectives.
