WestJet plans to operate six weekly flights between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Princess Juliana International Airport from November, increasing to as many as eight a week during the busiest part of the 2026-2027 winter season.

Karen Puebla, representing WestJet and Sunwing Vacations, confirmed the planned service during a tourism promotional event in Toronto involving representatives from both sides of the island. The Toronto service is scheduled to continue through April 2027.

Sunwing Vacations is also offering weekly Thursday departures from Montreal to Sint Maarten from 5 November 2026 through 29 April 2027. The packages are supported by WestJet-operated flights following WestJet's 2025 integration of Sunwing Airlines.

WestJet representatives said passenger demand would help determine whether further frequencies or additional Canadian departure markets are introduced.
