Ailsa Anastatia to unveil installation in Curaçao

SKOR Curaçao and Novo Collective say Ailsa Anastatia will unveil Terms & Conditions at Sint Jorisbaai on Saturday 10 October.

The Queen Emma pontoon bridge, spanned by metal arches, crosses the water in front of a row of brightly painted gabled buildings.

SKOR Curaçao and Novo Collective said artist Ailsa Anastatia will unveil her new installation, Terms & Conditions, at Sint Jorisbaai, Curaçao, at 5pm AST on Saturday 10 October. The unveiling falls on Curaçao National Day and is open to the public and media.

The work will join the Open Air Sculpture Trail, which the organisations said runs across locations on the island. It is part of uncommissioned: Curaçao, an art programme by SKOR Curaçao and Novo Collective that began on 4 August.

The organisations said the programme places new works in public spaces rather than traditional exhibition settings.
