MCB Group said on Thursday 8 October that Daisy Tyrol-Carolus will retire as Country Head of Windward Islands Bank (WIB) in Sint Maarten on Thursday 31 December. Camillo Bakhuis will succeed her, the group said.

Bakhuis will join WIB on Sunday 1 November as Country Head St. Maarten Designate before taking up the role after Tyrol-Carolus retires, according to MCB Group. The group said the two will work together during the transition period.

MCB Group said Bakhuis has more than 20 years of leadership experience in Caribbean financial services, including senior management and executive positions in operations, risk management, credit administration and organisational development. It said he has previously worked in Sint Maarten.
